Age Related CAPS Scores

The table above shows the reference ranges for age, healthy balance and percentage loss of stability. Balance issues can occur at any age. You are a statistical risk of falling and seriously injuring yourself if your results are anything other than a Healthy Balance Score. A comprehensive neurological examination and additional diagnostic testing is advised.

Enclosed are 5 case studies on my patients age 16 to 56. A change from substandard to healthy balance scores was accomplished in two to six weeks of therapy.

Nerve receptors in spinal joints influence pain, muscle tone, blood vessel tone and balance. Most patients presenting with neck, back or soft tissue complaints have a balance component associated with their suffering.

Surgery may offer a short term solution for pain management but has been shown to offer no significant changes in core stability and balance.
