Healing Laser Treatment for Healing
One of the therapies I utilize in my Scottsdale chiropractic office is low level laser therapy. I have several name brand lasers in my office, and my favorite laser manufacturer is Erchonia. Erchonia currently holds 19 of 22 level one FDA clearances in the nation.
The cold low level laser speeds up the mitochondria in the cell, which then speeds up energy for the healing of the affected areas.
The Erchonia Laser device is an FDA-approved, Class II, 7.5 milliwatt near-infrared laser that operates at a wavelength of 635nm, meaning the energy output is in the “cold” light energy spectrum. This laser therefore cannot heat or cut tissue. Instead, Erchonia lasers work through photobiomodulation, meaning that the energy of the laser increases the body’s ability to run ordinary, normal cellular processes, among which include healing damaged tissues. This is because the wavelength of photonic energy is very short, permitting the photons to enter a small organelle inside the cells called mitochondria, and speeds up the ability of the mitochondria to produce energy for the cell. The healing effects of the laser are immediate.
Some of the conditions that cold low-level laser helps to speed the healing include but are not limited to:
- Low Back Pain
- Neck and Shoulder Pain
- Musculoskeletal Pain
- Post-Surgery Pain Associated with Hip, Knee or other Joint Replacement
- Fractures
- Heel Pain
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Ligament Injuries
In these COVID times, I have developed a 7-day protocol of multiple daily applications to promote the healing of inflammation associated with post-surgery, fracture, and ligament injuries. The great news is this therapy can be done in the comfort and safety of your own home. That means you pick up the equipment and take it home; it’s so easy to set up and use.
